dc.description.abstract Identity is a person's self-reflection that defines how he is different in behaving and behaving. Identity is something that is definitely owned by anindividual and this is also what distinguishes an individual from other individuals. This identity itself can be formed or formed repeatedly, which is due to various factors. This is known as Identity (re) construction. One phenomenon can beseen in international students who decide to continue their studies in other countries. This research uses qualitative research which makes it easier to know someone's experience. In this study using a narrative inquiry approach, by using this researcher may understand how a person's identity is formed by studying their life experiences (Clandinin & Connelly, 2000; Clandinin & Rosiek, 2007; Kramp, 2004). The subjects of this study were international students studying English at the English Language Education Study Program of Lambung Mangkurat University. Finding shows the results of interviews with the subject in which the subject shares his experience in taking knowledge. The participant potrayed a change in identity that had been felt since he first visited Indonesia. It can be concluded that identity reconstruction is an unavoidable process.
