When learning English language, many students struggle with the difficulty of learning a new language. Low self-esteem is one of the psychological issues that students encounter. Students with low self-esteem can also result from mental illnesses including anxiety, disorder, or depression. The data collection was carried out using library research. The results show a strong correlation between student self-esteem and language learning. Based on the findings, it's necessary to maintain a positive learning environment in the classroom.
