Abstract:
At the time of this writing the world is hit by a world epidemic called corona-virus or further generally known as COVID-19. which interferes with people's daily activities, including the educational system. This research was conducted to understand about student from remote area perception toward emergency remote teaching during covid-19 from batch 2020 English language study program. Therefore, this study aims to describe the perception toward emergency remote teaching during the COVID-19 pandemic. The research used a qualitative descriptive method. This research conducted in Lambung Mangkurat University started from January, 18th 2022 until February, 10th 2022.Theparticipants of this study were the student of English language study program batch 2020 .This research used a questionnaire as the main instrument consist of ninety-nine student and follow up with interview that consist of 4 student. This research used data triangulation to analyse the research data. In analysing data, there were data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. Based on the data result, based on the data finding and discussion in the previous chapter, it can be concluded that the student batch 2020 from English language study program perception toward emergency remote teaching are divided with the students claim how easy it is to study online despite the problem with internet connection and students enjoy learning about the technology use for online learning but also having trouble mainly about the internet connection
