Abstract:
Background: The success of implementing Discharge Planning is determined by
some factors, the motivation is the important factor to support individual in doing
an action.
Purpose: Knowing the correlation between nurse's motivation with the
implementation of Discharge Planning in infirmary at RSD Idaman Banjarbaru City.
Methods: Quantitative research with Cross Sectional design for 31 PPJA in 9
infirmary at Idaman Hospital Banjarbaru City using questionnaires and
obeservation sheet.
Result: This study shows p-value = 0,007 with the limit of meaning a<0,05, it can
be concluded that there is a correlation between nurse's motivation with discharge
planning implementation.
Discussion: The result of this experiment is most of the respondents (48,4%) are
having high motivation and implementing discharge planning nicely. Motivation is
closely related with the implementation of discharge planning, so it can be said that
if nurses having a high motivation can lead to a good discharge planning
implementation and vice versa.
Conclusion: Nurses with high motivation can make discharge planning
implementation to be better.
Recommend: To future researchers to make documentation observation sheets
according to the latest Hospital Accreditation Standards based on KMK 1128 of
2022 and compare them with discharge planning forms in hospitals.
